Anne-UK1 07/16/11 01:34 pm Wow, he takes off like he's been doing it all his life. Thanks Daisy :)
martyc35 07/16/11 02:09 pm Wonderful capture, Daisy. I love the expression he showed after that other bird flew past: "Am I meant to do that? Yes, I think so."

Shelley 07/16/11 02:13 pm Always an exciting moment! Thanks for this. I haven't followed this nest other than here. Is he the only one in the nest or just the last one to fledge?
DaisyG 07/16/11 02:27 pm There are two of them Shelley. His big sister Tore fledged on the 12th at 54 days old. There were originally three eggs but the middle one failed to hatch. It was removed during the ringing and tagging on 30th June. Liquid contents.

I missed seeing Tore fledge so was thrilled to be around for this one :)
Lyn 07/19/11 12:40 pm What a treat to see Daisy! Thanks for the capture.
