Peter 07/20/11 03:38 pm This link is from the Hancock Wildlife Foundation Hellgate forum -- amazing footage of ospreys diving for fish, including underwater footage, and a difficult struggle to take off with a huge fish!

Pam 07/20/11 04:07 pm WOW ! Added to favourites !
Shelley 07/20/11 04:49 pm Wow is right! How do they get this kind of footage?! It really shows just how powerful the osprey is, the wing strength, the coordination. Amazing!
Thanks for this!
Celeste 07/20/11 04:49 pm Wow is "THE" word! Thank you!!!
Kathy 07/20/11 04:59 pm Remarkable! Added to my favorites too.
Anne 07/20/11 05:23 pm Fab-u-lous!
Celeste 07/20/11 06:06 pm I watched a couple more, one in particular with the chicks fighting over a fish, and a first fledge. Reminded me how we would "hold our breath" when they were fighting, and of course the excitement of the first fledge!
Marie 07/21/11 09:46 am wow! That was truly amazing footage. These birds are always so fascinating to watch...I love the shaking of the feathers as it flies having been immersed in water...
martyc35 07/21/11 02:43 pm Fantastic footage, and thanks, Peter, for sharing.
