martyc35 08/08/11 06:54 pm The mom raccoons are at it again. One has four babies, and the other has two. They come at night for peanuts, and I have to put the bird food away to keep them from eating that.
PIC HERE.

Pam 08/09/11 04:40 am I know they are pests but they are very cute :-) I just consider it a privilege to have any sort of wildlife visit, as long as they don't invade the house itself. (Dennis doesn't take that view especially with pigeons and squirrels)
Celeste 08/09/11 08:04 am They are cute. Earlier this summer, we saw 2 baby raccoons at 8:30am in the morning, and again at 11am on the same day. I think they were just exploring and didn't know that they are supposed to hide during the day. Haven't seen them since, but I do see them when my sensor lights go on and I'm up before dawn! Interestingly, in Florida, the raccoons are out all day.
I can't even discuss squirrels. They have gotten so brazen as they know I put seed in a feeder outside the dining room window. I have 2 windows at the back of the house, (kitchen and dining room). Frank got an unexpected surprise while at the kitchen sink yesterday, when he was face to face with a squirrel hanging from the gutters with his face against the window!
Melanie 08/09/11 09:56 am Now that would have been a Kodak moment!
Anne-UK1 08/10/11 06:23 pm So cute Marty!

lol Celeste - I'd love to have seen Frank's face.
