Thread subject: REALLY neat fishing video

Melanie 08/22/11 12:15 pm Greg just sent this up to me - can't remember if it has already been posted or not but it just gives me goosebumps to watch the first and third dives. Be sure to enlarge it to full screen. I am especially interested in what count people get on the first dive. It's certainly more than two. I also love the way they shake themselves off like a dog right down to their wingtips and still keep flying.
Anne 08/22/11 01:18 pm Yes I have seen that one before but it is still amazing.
Shelley 08/22/11 01:44 pm Yes, we've seen it but I too never cease to be awed by it. I wonder why he let go with one claw on that last fish; it was HUGE and had to be heavy. Clearly, he knew what he was doing, though.

And how on earth did the cameramen get these shots, that's what I"d love to know!
Pamela 08/22/11 05:46 pm Yes, incredible shots AND bird.
Is anyone aware of the year on the footage?
Peter 08/22/11 08:54 pm Yes, simply amazing. First posted here on 7/20/11 I believe, yet every time I see it I am taken by the strength, agility etc. of the ospreys. Year of footage is not immediately clear. The Hancock Wildlife Forum may have more information.
