martyc35 09/04/11 01:13 pm Hi: Last night I watched a 30-minute doc on moose and loons in Maine. The photographer managed to get quite close to the loons to get pics, mom and dad and one baby. Also, their distinctive calls were well captured. Good stuff on the moose/meese, too. They have a website, so it might be possible to view online, I'm not sure: WildlifePhotoAdventures. com, Doug Gardner, or search for Moose Loons Maine and see if that works. Hope all is well with you,
Marty
Pam 09/04/11 04:50 pm Marty: thanks so much for that. I found the program and enjoyed it very much...more moose than loons but that didn't matter. I am passing the link on to Looney friends and I am sure they will enjoy it as much as I did. The link is here by the way:

martyc35 09/04/11 08:28 pm Oh, good. I'm glad you could get access to it. Yes, looks like the loons were actually an afterthought, but what they have is nice. I love those calls, and seeing the moose standing in the water near the loons was a thrill, too.

Nancy L 09/05/11 03:02 pm On our most recent visit to the Adirondack North Country, Jim & went out for a morning kayak paddle & I saw & heard for the first time -- loons! They were not that far off & it was a thrill.
