Peter 11/14/11 07:38 pm Just checked the Dunrovin' web cam. Amazing how much snow is coming down!

Dunrovin blizzard?

The name of this ranch reminds me of a cottage I once stayed in -- Done Movin'.

Winter approacheth.
Melanie 11/14/11 10:24 pm Just for a lark I just tuned in - can't see a thing but the wind is sure impressive
Pam 11/15/11 12:30 pm Yes...pretty snowy there. A little flock of sparrows there now.. Nice view of the nest. This cam is new to me - another for the favourites !
martyc35 11/15/11 12:33 pm Yes, I can hear the little plunking noises, too, Pam. Sounds like some of the snow is melting or forming icecycles, perhaps. Lovely scene in the daylight now, and no wind at all. Beautiful cam site!

Pam 11/15/11 01:28 pm I think they are Starlings that we can hear Marty. I put a picture on their facebook page:
Nancy L 11/16/11 11:54 am Thanks for that site, Peter. New one for me, too.
Peter 11/16/11 06:30 pm Thanks Nancy L and Pam,

Funny, I am a newbie to ospreys this year, and I assumed everyone knew about this web cam -- really high-definition and great real-time video and sound. On the left side, click on "Live Osprey Cameras" to find the Hellgate cam at the Health Center (and the railroad and Interstate in the background -- funny to have the long trains and their whistles and horns "horn in" on the osprey action!).

Unfortunately 2011 was not a good year for the ospreys in Montana due to high water in the rivers which diminished the food supply.

Plus these two cams are still active on and off, so the fall foliage and snow shots have been restorative.

To Everything There is a Season.
