||Spring is in the air here on Long Island, but best of all driving through Amityville waiting at a traffic light with my husband, who noticed flapping wings and a fish in the air over a Boat Marina Yes my first OSPREY of the season, struggling to get airborne with his huge fish, (a flounder I believe), flapping, flapping to get airborne! Perfect!

||Way to go, Celeste. What a great sight. So glad they are back and finding nice, big fish.

||Oh, wonderful! :))) Thanks Celeste - if you're seeing them, then our UK ones shouldn't be too far behind. And so it starts all over again.

I keep hearing rumours of them here in Annapolis but STILL have not seen one.

Buried in my turkey vulture posts below is a link for a possible osprey sighting over Shinnecock Bay on the East End yesterday.
I vow to buy a good camera this year!
