martyc35 03/21/12 03:11 pm And I saw three here on the Humboldt Bay nests, yesterday, when I drove out to check on them. One of the nests took a beating this winter, but an osprey was sitting atop the site where it was last spring. Maybe they will rebuild. Saw several Brants and one Brown Pelican at their popular fishing and ducking sites, too. I went out to the "Samoa Dunes" recreation site, but it appears to be mostly for dune buggies, not old folks like me. Ah, well, we have the nature preserves.
