LeeG 04/01/12 08:51 am After a tumultuous two weeks (lack of food and vicious pecking) it looks like both chicks should survive.
Anne-UK1 04/01/12 10:21 am I had to look to see what's been happening there Lee. Sounds like it's been pretty tough viewing for a while. Fingers crossed both chicks get enough to eat now and things get easier.
Kelly 04/01/12 11:48 am Yes, Lee, a very good feeding earlier this morning where R2 was assertive and R1 didn't intervene :)
vickinish 04/01/12 03:02 pm They also had an outsider, never seen on camera, disrupt the nest. Both parents were present and nothing bad happened. But made me think of the sad loss of the chicks at Blackwater.
LeeG 04/01/12 04:06 pm Yes....I was watching one day (last week I think) and the adult actually ducked below the rim of the nest to watch something. She/He flew off the nest and then returned. The camera operator tried....but never was able to view what it was that attracted all the attention.
LeeG 04/01/12 04:37 pm Squirrel just delivered to nest is being filleted for dinner. Appears to be a smorgasbord of delicacies available for all
Anne-UK1 04/01/12 06:10 pm That's sounding better. Thanks for the updates Lee - too many cams and too little time to keep up with all of them first hand.
