martyc35 09/23/12 04:48 pm Kestrel hosts today, with a wonderful photo diary on how to tell one bird from another by its beak or bill. Others chime in with great pics, too. LINK.

Shelley 09/23/12 08:20 pm Fantastic diary today, Marty. Thanks so much
Trishrg 09/23/12 09:05 pm Great diary Marty.
Can you tell me what tags you use to post images in the blog?
Is it as simple as
???
Or is there more to it?
Maybe a link for a "how to" blog?
Thanks,
martyc35 09/23/12 10:37 pm It is so simple, Trish. < img src= "
but with no spaces and then do just what you do for other pics, insert the url and close with ">. I don't know whether this system will let me illustrate, but let's try.

martyc35 09/23/12 10:46 pm This is so hard to illustrate correctly. No space after <, but a space between img and src. Hope this helps. You need to be a dKos member to post, though. It's free.

Trishrg 09/23/12 10:46 pm Oops, I didn't realize that was a live tag I put in there.
i typed in blahblahblah.jpg

Thanks Marty. I'll try to post a pic for today's diary.
Trishrg 09/23/12 10:54 pm Right on! It worked! Thanks Marty.
martyc35 09/24/12 05:15 am Good work, and that's a great pic of the thrasher. I wonder if Kestrel realizes how really tiny the creeper would be next to the thrasher. Made me smile.
