||When somebody appeared he livened up and flapped away on to a high ledge. Maybe he was just stunned (he looked it). I hope OL staff will let us know what happened and that he is okay.

||Pam, that last link you gave has an update and it appears the eagle is fine! The *Marie* they mention who took photos isn't *our* Marie, is it? I don't really have any idea where in BC this place is or where Marie goes to photograph but it wouldn't surprise me if it was her! Anyhow, good ending to this story

In answer to your questions, the Marie that took photos works at Orcalab which is in a remote location in Johnstone Strait, north Vancouver island. "Our" Marie lives in Victoria at the opposite end of the island and I don't think she has visited OL this year. (She is okay by the way, we keep in touch).
