Shelley 11/18/12 07:57 pm Amazing today, thanks, Marty! Great photos, too
Trishrg 11/18/12 09:18 pm Nice diary- and interesting timing, as I spent part of the afternoon touring the Ojai Raptor Center, seeing all their birds. I posted a couple pics I took today, including an albino Turkey Vulture, and 2 unlikely best friends, a Long Eared, and Barred Owl.
martyc35 11/19/12 03:43 pm I absolutely LOVE that owl pic, Trish. I have been to Ojai, a lovely spot, but my regret was not getting a bit further east to look for the re-introduced CA Condors. Then I worried about them when those big fires went through the mountains back there. Good thing they can fly!

Pam 11/19/12 04:11 pm All very interesting ! There have been a couple of Peregrines at Race Rocks lately and one was hunting in the rain yesterday. I got some good close-ups recently as one perched very near the webcam.
The Nottingham Trent Uni. Peregrine pair have been together recently, billing and bobbing up and down together. It will soon all be starting again !!!!

The guardian, Mike, too photos of a Snowy Owl recently but I haven't had any luck seeing it. Sometimes they make a stopover in bad weather, on their way to the Boundary Bay area.
