Thread subject: Two on the nest at LotL !
Name Date Message
Anne-UK1 03/25/13 09:32 am I've no idea who and not much time to find out. If anyone else is around to do some checking please feel free.

The blog says they think last year's male is back as of yesterday. I wonder who the second one is?
Anne-UK1 03/25/13 09:33 am Sorry - here's the link - LotL

I'm probably being over optimistic, but one osprey looks quite old to me.
Anne-UK1 03/25/13 09:37 am Oh, and here's a link to the Wildlife Village blog. Scroll down the page to get to the comments. It comes up with the latest page I think, but there is a link to older comments. Blog

From a quick glance, opinion seems to be that our old Lady is indeed back for yet another year! There will be screen and video captures posted among the comments.

If it is her again, then all I can say is Wow! Pretty much the same as I said last year :)
Anne-UK1 03/25/13 09:46 am Okay, calm-down time. A shame but still at least we have birds checking out the nest and those two looked quite comfortable together in the brief look that I had.

From the comments page:-

Busy morning at Lowes â 4 ospreys about, including male. Two unknown unringed birds have been on the nest, neither âLadyâ. HUGE excitement!!
Pam 03/25/13 10:48 am Nobody home when I looked in but I sense your excitement Anne. Looks very bleak today as the cold North-easterly wind continues to blow.
Anne-UK1 03/25/13 05:52 pm Thanks Pam. I got lucky looking in at just the right time. Just not quite as lucky as I first thought. I honestly can't see the old girl making it back this year, but I'd be very happy to be proved wrong (again).
