||She certainly likes to keep us on our toes! Blog
Tiger, I presume you'll have let them know it's not a first for Scotland?

||That is phenomenal! I sure hope at least some of them hatch. Hard to think of her managing to care for all four, though.

||No it is not even a first for Lady. She had four eggs in 2005.
Peebles backup nest raised four chicks in 2005.
More recently there have been four fledged chicks in another nest but I do not have a reference off hand.

||It's laying four eggs more than once that they're asking about. Well I know EJ has, thanks to the stats page you linked the other day. I wonder if there have been any others. Almost impossible to tell for most nests of course.
As for Marge. Well, I was happy she'd laid one egg. Four is amazing, but I'd sooner one or two didn't hatch if it gives the others a better chance.

||Well Betty here at DPOF laid four eggs four years in a row. 2003-2006
Millford Conneticut raised four chicks more than once.
This nest did so too. See Here

||Blackwater fledged four in 2006

||It would be absolutely amazing if all four hatch but is to be hoped that at least a couple of them do.

||Absolutely exciting and wonderful news!
