Trishrg 06/17/13 01:54 pm I don't have time to goof off too much at work, but I can see there is a wiggler in the nest. Adults are standing over, as if not quite sure what to do now... :-)
Trishrg 06/17/13 02:58 pm Grabbed some screen captures and made a little video.
You can see the wiggly wiggler above the '13' in the 13:00 time stamp.

martyc35 06/17/13 03:00 pm Good work, Trish. I THINK I could see the wiggler. Congrats to Lisa and all!

FOB Webmaster 06/18/13 05:37 pm Thanks all -- and thanks for the video! We've had very challenging parents this year, so we're not sure what to expect for the chick. Hopefully they'll rise to the occasion.
Trishrg 06/21/13 05:05 pm Looks like the chick may have perished.
I watched for a while this afternoon. No movement in the nest. The adult was just standing over, but not sitting on to warm before that. Then the adult left for about 45 min's was back for a while and now is gone again.
FOB Webmaster 06/21/13 09:43 pm Yeah, seeing them gone at night now feels like it's real.
Mickey 06/28/13 12:35 pm how did it die?
Anne-UK1 06/29/13 01:31 pm Sad news. Commiserations Lisa.
FOB Webmaster 06/30/13 01:44 pm Thanks, Anne.

Mickey -- we're not sure, but it never looked particularly active (sitting up), so it might have had health issues. We think it might have been the third egg (the other two disappeared).
