Thread subject: Black Bear Rescue cam

Melanie 10/02/13 02:21 pm OK - so they don't even have feathers, but they sure are fun to watch. This is from a wildlife rescue organization in Virginia and this particular pen has 16 black bear cubs, lots of straw, pumpkins, branches and other goodies. They really are a lot of fun to watch

I wonder where they all came from. The bears I follow are all born in the hibernation dens, black and brown bears in MN and AK. They are all much larger than these cuties by this time of year.

Perhaps in a milder climate area cubs are born later in the year?
