||they are working hard on their nest!

||Yes, they are!

||Glad to see this. Also, so happy to see that Woods Hole will be occupied this year, as well as Dunrovin. Sadly, though, it looks as if the nest at Hellgate isn't going to happen. I can only assume that if they aren't there by now, they must be elsewhere. This beautiful nest just looks so forlorn and empty. I really enjoyed this one last year.
The eagles at Decorah, on the other hand, already have chicks!! Two for sure and I think I might have seen a third.
I love spring! :-)

||Does anyone know how big the platform is at Chesapeake??? It appears to be rather small.to support 2 adults and possibly 3 chicks.
Me2 about WHOI...it has been not used since 2010 and the nest the pair are building looks wonderful.
it is currently 656EST...nest is empty. I've been watching this site for about and hour and the osprey appears to be agitated...possibly intruder ospreys??
Hellgate definitely looks sad without any ospreys :-(
Seen the 3 chicks at Decorah...neat.

||Mama is back at Woods Hole right now and she is rearranging the furniture again.

||I also thought the Chesapeake nest looks a little small.

||It does look small. I see from their cam page that it's new this year, but last year's doesn't look an awful lot bigger. This one might look better once the sides have been built up a bit more? Two adults seem to fill it at the moment - I can't imagine it with 2 or 3 juvies on as well.
Woods Hole nest is looking very comfortable. Funny how it's suddenly back in favour, but good to see.

||The general size box for platforms is 3x3'. Of course if it is a DIY job, people can customize.
