Shelley 05/14/14 10:00 am Hehe, looks like something new and BLUE has been added to the décor. ;-)
jazzel 05/28/14 09:21 pm Something new this afternoon, a nestling :)
jazzel 05/29/14 08:58 am Second hatch this morning :-)
Shelley 05/29/14 09:01 am I missed it!

What are those things in the nest, at the 6 o'clock spot? One looks oblong, (fish remnant? plant?) The other looks like it could be eggshell, with a stray feather stuck to it, blowing in the breeze. She is still in brooding position so I haven't seen her stand up and reveal anything yet
Shelley 05/29/14 09:20 am Ooo! I see them now! Two, with the last egg between them. :-)
Anne-UK 05/29/14 07:02 pm Great news :)
Shelley 05/30/14 08:42 am Uh-oh. I see what looks to me like a piece of yellow rope or twine, in the nest this morning. I hope mama removes it quickly, before the chicks get too mobile!

Does anyone monitor this nest, do we know?

Ok, I noticed an email address at the bottom of the screen. I emailed and hopefully, someone will see it and reply.
Shelley 05/30/14 07:12 pm I'm hoping it's not just a trick of the light or that it's buried, but I am not seeing the yellow twine just now. Maybe it's actually gone. Hope so
jazzel 05/30/14 07:42 pm I know the twine, don't see it..good. and the third egg hatched this afternoon, and all 3 nestlings just had a good feeding:-) Yes the nest is monitored, not 24/7 as UK nests.
