Pam 11/16/14 05:21 am For those members that are not on Facebook, it suddenly occurred to me that you may not know that I have been knitting miniature birds for getting on for two years now. I started with Loons, but have gone on to make different species including Ospreys. I selll them in an online shop and you can view them here:

etsy.com/uk/shop/Loonville (copy and paste).

They take a couple of days to knit and finish so I don't keep more than one or two in stock. I never get tired of making them and trying to improve my design. No two are ever completely the same and I will also custom make them to look like your favourite bird i.e. with individual feather markings and band.
Shelley 11/16/14 07:36 am Pam, your art work is gorgeous. I had known about the knitted birds but hadn't realized that you painted, as well. Truly lovely.

I recognized the Hellgate nest on your computer screen, behind the pic of your knitted osprey ;-)

Your birds are fantastic!
Pam 11/16/14 11:07 am I have painted for years Shelley but haven't time to do everything so my output has been small and has usually given to family or friends. Paintings don't come out very well on the computer, either in true colour or detail, unfortunately.
BethH 11/16/14 11:48 am Many thanks Pam-just placed a order!
Pam 11/16/14 01:18 pm Thanks Beth, I will pack tomorrow and put in the post on Monday morning :-)
BethH 11/17/14 10:18 am Thank you Pam!

Celeste 11/24/14 05:42 am Pam is very talented. One of her osprey has flown home to ME!
