cathleen 03/24/15 06:01 pm Looked like a female, I was excited, and suddenly I remembered all the drama and weirdness of the last season... here is the video I took this afternoon.
martyc35 03/24/15 08:15 pm Nice video, cathleen. So good to hear from you up there in the frozen north. Hope you are well.

cathleen 03/24/15 09:15 pm Hi marty --- it is not as freezing here as you think. Tomorrow will be warmer but rainy. I am well after my knee replacement and am anticipating retirement in the nest year or two. I am looking forward to the coming osprey season, as I trust you are as well. Hoping I will be seeing you on line again soon!
Nancy L 03/25/15 12:35 pm Cathleen....we've been up 'your way' visiting my old Geneseo roommate & her husband, who are now in an Assisted Living facility in Canandaigua. We've visited them once a year for the past 3 years. Went to Sodus Point for the first time last year
Glad you're doing well. We are enjoying retirement!
cathleen 03/25/15 12:48 pm No kidding! I am headed down towards Canandaigua way myself today to do some sketching with a friend. Sodus Point is a lovely place on Ontario Lake - much better in the summer than right now though. Brrrrrr!

Glad to hear you are enjoying retirement - I have it on my horizon as well, but it is a little scary.
Check on the Chesapeake Osprey - I posted a funny video of the female, Audrey, getting tripped up in the problematic sticks she and Tom have been bringing to the nest. Great intro to the season. :)
cathleen 03/31/15 07:07 am Both osprey are back on the WHOI nest this morning, as reported on
