Thread subject: WHOI Lizard
Name Date Message
Mickey 05/01/15 02:48 pm this is a 1st for me. An albino lizard has been brought to the nest. This pair of adults sure like their colorful items. Or maybe its the shapes? I wish this nest had sound.
Anne-UK 05/01/15 03:34 pm Purely for decorative purposes? Makes a change from gloves I guess.
martyc35 05/01/15 05:15 pm I just looked, and no lizard in sight, just a blue rubber glove and some other blue object. I think they will never tire of gloves, Anne. Would love to have seen that lizard!

Kathy 05/02/15 01:03 pm Lizard laying belly up, near that blue glove.
Anne-UK 05/03/15 03:43 pm And there to see in all its glory now. The Window on Wildlife forum reckons it's a toy rather than a real live (or dead) lizard. Either way, it's an interesting addition.
Shelley 05/03/15 08:23 pm It's dark now but for the last week or so there has been a very bright yellow toy lizard in the nest. I thought initially that it was a hook of some sort (plastic) but once it was moved around the nest a bit it was clear to see that it was a toy.

Apart from the 3 gloves (one garden glove, one rubber glove and one knitted glove), I have also seen a knotted piece of rope, the white facecloth which seems to be either buried or gone altogether, and the yellow lizard. I am still debating if that thing hanging and blowing off the right side is a sock or a piece or plastic
