Nancy L 03/30/17 05:12 pm I only found one active nest: This nest has been in use for a few years. It is right on the 'Holly Path.' When you start the Holly Path, just after you pass the Weeping bush, there is a straight, tall pine on the left. The nest is in the top. The pair were adding sticks today.
Matt 04/07/17 02:11 pm Weeping beech tree or Weeping Japanese tree (its a small one)?

Have they closed off the northern portion? They did last year due to the Eagles. Saw no reason to do that as where they were, you'd have to go through a lot of dense brush or water to get to them. And even then those pines are tall.
Nancy L 04/09/17 12:23 pm Yes, it makes no sense to close that portion off, but, YES, it's still closed.
Whatever that 'bush' is, (no, it's large) it has fencing around it & sign not to go under it. It's at the beginning of the Holly Walk, & then a real straight, tall pine on the left. The nest is easy to see, way at the top.
Matt 04/12/17 09:46 pm Fence around? That is the weeping sargent. The smaller of the two. The larger of the two is at the end of the gravel path and also fenced around. Now I know where that is.
Nancy L 04/13/17 10:38 am So did you see the osprey nest there?
Matt 04/14/17 09:34 am Haven't been there this year.
